‘Tis the season to choose your scale.

Fellow model railroaders. ‘Tis the season of lights, Christmas music, and gift giving. It’s also a great time to assess what you want to accomplish in your railroading adventures for the upcoming year. Miniaturization of products such as DCC decoders and video cameras open up a huge door to us model railroaders. Choose a path ahead. Pick a scale. From Z scale to G scale we haven’t had a better time in history to get into our model railroading. If you’re really into our hobby pick a main scale and then choose another scale to keep the fun factor high. I know a lot of railroaders who stay in a scale such as N or HO for their main scale and use another size such as S or O for select models to either display and/or to run. Most of all have fun! This is a hobby where you can stay simple or get really complex. Stay your budget, show some friends, and blow your whistle! Happy Holidays fellow hobbyists! – Brian
